High Commissioner Jeeva Sagar presented Credentials

On 20th August 2013, Mr. K. Jeeva Sagar, High Commissioner, presented to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama his Letters of Credence accrediting him as High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Ghana at a ceremony at Flagstaff House in Accra.

During the meeting, High Commissioner Sagar conveyed to President Mahama the greetings and assurances of high esteem from the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Mr. Sagar said that it was a great honour for him to represent India in the friendly country Ghana with which India’s relations are firmly rooted in history. India and Ghana  share common values of freedom, democracy and inclusiveness and their Governments enjoy mutual trust.

He briefly touched upon the bilateral relations between the two countries and assured the President that it would be his endeavour to take India-Ghana bilateral relations to a qualitatively higher trajectory, add new dimensions and impart greater people-driven orientation.
